FabLab Takeo is a fab lab started in Takeo (Saga Prefecture, Japan) by Studio Kura. It has many self-fabrication tools, including the latest digital fabrication tools. The lab is open to everyone, but it is specially made with the children of Takeo in mind.
We want to show the children that were born here that the countryside is still connected to the world, and that there is a place where one can carry out creative activities. We want them to use the different machines to create something of their own. We started this lab to help raise the children of Takeo so that they can face challenges with a creative stance.
